Shipping Policy – Jyara Canada

 

This Shipping Policy applies to purchases made through Jyara Canada (“we”, “us”, “our”) via our online store.

This policy complies with applicable provisions of the Consumer Protection Act, 2002 (Ontario) regarding delivery obligations and disclosure requirements.


1. Order Processing Times

Once an order is placed:

  • Orders are processed within 1–3 business days
  • Orders placed on weekends or holidays may require additional processing time
  • Processing time is separate from shipping time
  • You will receive a confirmation email once your order has been successfully placed.

2. Estimated Delivery Times

After processing, delivery typically takes:

8–12 business days

Delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed unless expressly stated.

Under Ontario law, if we are unable to deliver your order within 30 days of the agreed delivery date, you may have the right to cancel your order and receive a refund, unless you agree to a revised delivery date.


3. Shipping Costs

We offer free standard shipping on all orders within Canada.

There is no minimum purchase requirement.

If expedited shipping is offered, additional fees will be disclosed at checkout.


4. International Fulfillment

To maintain competitive pricing, some products may be shipped from international fulfillment centres, including facilities located in Asia.

By placing an order, you acknowledge that:

  • Delivery times may reflect international shipping transit
  • Customs processing may affect delivery timelines
  • In rare cases, minor delays may occur due to circumstances beyond our control
  • Jyara Canada is not responsible for delays caused by:
  • Customs authorities
  • Carrier disruptions
  • Weather events
  • Labour strikes
  • Force majeure events

5. Delivery Obligations (Ontario Compliance)

Under Ontario’s Consumer Protection Act:

If a delivery date is specified and we do not deliver within 30 days of that date, you may cancel the agreement.

If no delivery date is specified, goods must be delivered within 30 days from the date of purchase.

If cancellation is valid under Ontario law, we will issue a full refund within 15 days of cancellation.


6. Incorrect Address Information

Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping information.

Jyara Canada is not responsible for:

  • Delays caused by incorrect addresses
  • Orders lost due to customer input errors
  • If an order is returned due to incorrect address details, re-shipping fees may apply.

7. Lost or Stolen Packages

If tracking confirms delivery but you have not received your package:

Please contact the shipping carrier first

Then contact us within 7 days

Jyara Canada is not responsible for stolen packages once marked as delivered, but we will assist in filing a carrier investigation where possible.


8. Order Tracking

Once shipped, you will receive a tracking number via email (if available).

Please allow up to 5 business days for tracking updates to appear in the carrier’s system.


9. Shipping Delays

While we aim to meet all estimated delivery times, delays may occur due to:

  • High order volume
  • Carrier service disruptions
  • Public health events
  • Severe weather conditions

We will notify you if significant delays occur.
