Refund & Return Policy – Jyara Canada
This Refund & Return Policy applies to purchases made through Jyara Canada ("we", "us", "our") via our online store.
This policy complies with applicable Canadian consumer protection legislation, including the Consumer Protection Act, 2002 (Ontario) and, where applicable, the Consumer Protection Act (Quebec).
1. Return Eligibility
Customers may request a return within 30 days of delivery.
To be eligible for a return:
- The item must be unused and in original condition
- All original packaging, components, and tags must be included
- The item must not show signs of misuse or damage caused by the customer
- Defective items must be reported within 48 hours of delivery
We reserve the right to refuse returns that do not meet these conditions.
2. Customer-Paid Return Shipping
Jyara Canada does not offer free returns.
- Unless the item is defective or shipped in error:
- Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer
- Original shipping charges are non-refundable
If the product is defective or incorrect due to our error, we will cover reasonable return shipping costs.
3. Right of Cancellation (Before Shipment)
Orders may be cancelled before they are processed or shipped.
Due to automated order processing, cancellation requests must be submitted immediately after purchase.
Once an order has shipped, cancellation is no longer possible. However, customers may request a return after delivery in accordance with this policy.
Nothing in this section limits any mandatory cancellation rights provided under applicable provincial consumer protection laws.
4. International Fulfillment & Returns
Some products may be fulfilled from international warehouses, including facilities located in Asia.
If a return is approved:
- Items must be returned to our designated return facility (which may be located outside Canada)
- Customers are responsible for international return shipping costs
- Customers are responsible for any customs fees or duties related to the return
We strongly recommend using tracked shipping. Jyara Canada is not responsible for lost return shipments without proof of tracking.
5. Refund Process
Once your return is received and inspected:
- Refunds will be processed within 30 days
- Refunds will be issued to the original payment method
- You will receive confirmation once the refund is completed
Refunds may be reduced if returned items are damaged or not in original condition due to customer handling beyond what is reasonably necessary to examine the goods.
6. Defective or Non-Conforming Goods
Under Canadian consumer protection laws, customers are entitled to receive goods that:
- Are of acceptable quality
- Match their description
- Are fit for their intended purpose

7. Non-Returnable Items
The following items may not be eligible for return unless required by law:
- Final sale items clearly marked as final sale
- Gift cards
- Personal-use or hygiene items that have been opened
8. Chargebacks & Disputes
Customers agree to contact Jyara Canada directly to resolve any issue before initiating a chargeback.
We reserve the right to provide proof of delivery, customer communications, and policy acceptance in the event of a payment dispute.
9. Limitation of Statutory Rights
Nothing in this Refund Policy limits or excludes any rights you may have under applicable Canadian consumer protection laws.
Where provincial law provides additional rights or remedies, those rights will apply.
